Prosthetic Limb Implantation

In 2021, Dr. Hashish performed his first “artificial limb implantation” on a rescued cat that was born with congenital anomalies and deformed limbs, Stumpy was born in a farm with deformed limbs and lived for 3 years dragging his limbs, as he started to develop complications, animal rescue group reached out and Stumpy’s journey started. Several radiographs were taken and certain measurements taken. Custom made prosthetic (artificial) legs were tailored for Stumpy. Surgery lasted for 2 hours. Recovery was smooth and after 3 weeks Stumpy was walking, running and hiding for the first time in his life. Stumpy continues to enjoy his life in his forever home!
